| September 19, MD Welcome Back Pot Luck Supper and Aquavit Tasting-Drott Lodge. Join Drott Lodge for our annual Welcome back Pot Luck Supper at St. James Church 11815 Seven Locks Road,Potomac, Maryland. 2-5pm. Bring a dish to pass and join the fellowship of the "Swedes". We will also have a program from North Shore Distillery on Aquavit. So come and raise your glass and "SKOL" with us at Drott Lodge. Join Drott Lodge for a private sail aboard the Kalmar Nyckel. We will travel by bus from Silver Spring to Wilmington Delaware. This wonderful trip will include a sail on the Kalmar Nyckel, a tour of the visitors center, a tour of the Old Swedes Church. We will have lunch at the Iron City Brewery (lunch wll be on your own, price is not included in the cost of the trip). $70.00 for members of Drott, $75.00 for non members. This wonderful event will begin at 3pm with a processional to St. James Church 11815 Seven Locks Road,Potomac, Maryland. This wonderful event will focus on the children and grandchildren of our lodge. Following the procession and service in the church we will have a festive celebration of dancing around the Christmas and a visit from St. Nick. Please join us for this celebration. Vasa Order of America Drott Lodge #168. Drott Lodge meets once a month except for July and August. Regular monthly meetings, from September through May, include a cultural program and socializing with refreshments. There are four Special Meetings which are the Welcome Back Potluck Dinner, the Lucia Pageant, the Officers Installation, and the Peasoup and Pancakes Dinner. The Annual Special events are the November Swedish Bazaar and the June Midsummer Picnic with the American Scandinavian Association and Finlandia Foundation. Nordic Dancers of Washington DC.
